i painted these primarily with permanent rose and dioxazine blue, two paint hues i had acquired less than 12 hours ago. this was honestly more of a test run as i had also bought the 3in square canvases that same day but i still rly like this. reminiscient of another pastel work i made. this was painted on the last day of 2023. i remembered wanting to enter 2024 painting, i cannot recall if i did.
